Enter the bowels of the suburban home where all is not as it seems!

Cross Stitch x un hitched: It’s not all Tea and Scones” creatively investigates what it means to be a woman living regionally. CWA craftswomen have collaborated with Women artists to create a cross pollination of art forms around their narratives of personal/ cultural identity. Cross- Stitch investigates the many faces of regional women in their most familiar environment, the family home to look at the ways that we as regional women are the same/different. The project is created, installed and performed in a suburban house where artists and audiences will create their own sound and visual content response and take part in a live dining experience, (the family table).. Cross stitch takes the familiar and surprises us with the unfamiliar, creating an unusual experience, provoking us to redefine our relationship to ourselves, each other and our World.
