A giant Camera Obscura has landed on The NRC!

What does this mean and who will be adventurous enough to venture into its interior?

For two days only, audiences will became explorers, venturing into the Obscura to witness some very special performances. Once inside the ‘camera’, a number of live performances outside takes place. Visiting artists will work with local creatives to devise performance pieces that play with this ambiguity, (dancing on hands, performers inverted in a harness, upside down sets). Audiences will also  be able to view the performance from outside The Obscura. Set to a  live original score, and an experience not unlike Alice down the rabbit hole,  this journey is a reminder of the ever present gap between the material world and the senses at our disposal to interpret it.

TICKETING: Purchase a Go Getter Festival Pass which will guarantee your place inside the Obscura!

Alternatively, register for a free ticket. Come along for the performance where a ballot will be held to choose those that view from inside or outside The Camera Obscura.
